Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to express my dissatisfaction on the construction of the new condos in our neighborhood and would like to suggest a better alternative to it.
While reading the weekly newspaper, I came to know about the new project that is going to be built near the children’s playground. Initially, I taught the building is going to be constructed beside the kids play zone. However, upon further reading, I found out that the playground is going to be demolished for the new construction project, and it really surprised me.
The new project is going to have a bad effect on society, especially the children, and this is due to the unavailability of the park in our area. As a result, kids will have no choice but to stay home and play video games. In the long run, this could affect the children’s mental and physical well being as outdoor games help children develop and improve their cognitive abilities.
The remedy to this issue is to leave the park area, and construct the new project in a place that do not affect society such as the place where the old secondary school is located. This is because upon the opening the new secondary school last year, people hardly visit this location and has been lying there for a while.
