Dear College Administration,
I am writing to express my disappointment with the language course I recently enrolled in at your esteemed institution. While I was initially excited to improve my language skills, I have been dismayed by the teaching methods and resources provided, which I believe are hindering my learning experience.
Specifically, I find the course’s over-reliance on outdated textbooks and lack of interactive materials to be unsatisfactory. The teaching approach is predominantly lecture-based, with little opportunity for students to engage in meaningful conversations or practice their speaking skills. Furthermore, the classroom facilities are not equipped with modern technology, such as audio-visual aids or online resources, which would greatly enhance the learning experience.
These issues are significantly impacting my ability to effectively learn and engage with the course material. Without opportunities to practice speaking and listening, I feel my language skills are not improving at the rate I had anticipated. Moreover, the lack of interactive materials is making the classes feel monotonous and unengaging.
To improve the course, I would like to suggest several changes. Firstly, I recommend incorporating more interactive and immersive activities, such as role-plays, group discussions, and debates, to foster a more engaging learning environment. Secondly, I propose updating the course materials to include more contemporary and relevant resources, such as online articles, podcasts, and videos. Finally, I believe it would be beneficial to invest in modern classroom technology, such as interactive whiteboards and audio-visual equipment, to supplement the teaching materials.
By implementing these changes, I am confident that the language course would better meet the needs of its students, including myself, and provide a more effective and enjoyable learning experience.
Thank you for considering my concerns. I look forward to seeing improvements in the course.
Sincerely,
lilan
