Dear Sir or madam,

I am writing to apply for the post of a part-time book-keeper at your restaurant which was published in the daily newspaper. I am looking for a nearby job, so this would be a perfect match.

Recently I am studying for my post-graduation as an accountant from DAV University and is generally free for three days a week. As I am pursuing my masters in commerce, I would like you to know that I have basic to advance knowledge of accounting, maintaining ledgers and book-keeping. Moreover, I have also done an apprenticeship for three months at Sindhi sweets, for which they have granted me a certificate.

I would like to mention my timetable here. I am generally free on weekends and on weekdays, I am available after 3p.m. I am living as a paying guest in Sector 22, Chandigarh, so it will be easy for me to travel to your place as the distance is just 1.5 kms. I am attaching my resume here. Please feel free to contact me anytime.
