I was shocked when I read it, as you mentioned that he was a corrupt businessman who had stolen a lot of land from poorer people.

This person is my uncle and I have known this person for the last twenty years. He is a great person and always ready to help needy people. I think you have received the wrong information or maybe you have some misunderstanding of him. Also, he gave funds to charities for the education of needy children. With the help of that person, many young people got professional degrees and made better careers.
