The plans below show the design of the museum’s ground floor in 1990 and that conversion in 2010.
On the left side, changes only occurred in directions such as the directions of the door and reception counter. But on the right side, there was a change in the function and a room that was previously only two rooms in 1990 became three in 2010.
From the left top to the left bottom of the ground floor, the museum in 1990 has shown a change in the different shape of the gift shop’s room. In 1990, the room was smaller than 2010, and in 2010 the room was used for two needs, which are cafe and gift shop. The door in 1990 was on the right, but in 2010 was diagonal. In 2010 there was a lift beside the gift shop, but in 1990 it was not. After that, there is a natural history room but there was no change between 1990 and 2010, but below that room, there was the Museum Office. The shape was still the same, but the reception counter had been arranged in different directions. In 2010, the reception counter was near the entrance.
On the right top to the right bottom of the maps, the museum in 1990 had shown that the archeology gallery had changed to be a children’s interactive zone. Switch down a bit,, in 2010 there are poster display areas which previously was one with the archaeologist’s gallery in 1990. The last room in the museum was the local history room which was not a big change. Previously, the door was at the top, but it has been closed and the room is open on the left side of the room without the door.
