The pictures illustrate the stages involved in the process of producing chocolate from cacao trees. In general, there are 10 steps in the process, starting with collecting cacao and ending with making a liquid chocolate.
The first step is harvesting a cacao from cacao gardens, which are grown in South America, Africa, and Indonesia. Secondly, white cacao beans are separated from the pods harvested. In the following step these beans are fermented in squared boxes. After being spreaded in sun in order to dry, they are put in large sacks to transport easily.
The process continues with transportation by specialized trucks to chocolate produced plants. Next, the beans are roasted at 350 degrees. The are crushed, and outer shell are removed. Finally, inner part is pressed to produce a liquid chocolate.
