The information displays the percentage of the entire world population in 4 countries in 1950 and 2002, and estimations on how it would change by 2050.
Overall, most powerhouses seem to be sinking interms of their population percentage with the unique exception of India which is analysed to be on the rise.
To kick things off, let us take a depper dive into China and Japan. For both fo these locations, we have seen drastic declines in their percentage of how much they populate in the world. For China, it has seen sharp declines from 22.5% in 1950 to 20% in 2002, and that number is expected to continue to flop to 15% in 2050. As for Japan, it started at a mere 4% in 1950, and that number is dipping slowly but surely to 3% in 2002 and 1% in 2050.
On the contrary, we are seeing a stark increase for the INdian population, they seem to be on the rise, from 15% in 2950 to an impressive 17% in 2002, and that number is projected to continue to rise to 19% in 2050. As for the USA, it started at 7^ but has experienced a bit of a fall off to 5% but it manages to hold its position there till 2050.
