Then, its number experienced a dramatic increase, reaching just over 50,000 in 2006, and fell rapidly at the end of the period. For the USA, the number of migrants was relatively low, at around 25,000. However, this number decreased to just under 20,000 before experiencing a gradual fluctuation, ending at exactly 20,000. Similarly, France’s figure also started relatively low, which was slightly lower than that of the USA.
