The supplied diagaram shows how bricks are made for the building industry.
Overall, this is a linear process involving seven steps stsrting from excavation of soil and ending with delivery of bricks to the construction site.
The first step starts with removal of soil from the ground using an excvator followed by sieving through a metal grid on a roller. Subsequently, the clay is mixed with sand and water and the rsultant product is moulded into bricks or formed into a block and cut into bricks using a wire cutter. The bricks are the dried in an oven for about 24-48 hours.
At the fifth stage, the blocks of bricks are put in a chamber containing moderate tempereratures, afterwards in anoter chamber with high temperatures and later in a cooling chamber for 48-72 hours to cool before being packed and dlivered to the construction site.
