The graphs show the average daily temperatures and rainy days per month in two Australian cities: Brisbane and Canberra.
Brisbane is warmer than Canberra. Both the maximum and minimum temperatures are higher in Brisbane. The two cities have a similar pattern in temperature. They get cooler from April to September. But, their rainfall patterns are not same.
In Brisbane, February is the hottest month. The maximum temperature reaches about 30℃ that month. In Canberra, the warmest period is from December to February and the top temperature is around 27℃. July is the coldest month for both. In July, Brisbane’s minimum temperature falls to about 10℃, while in Canberra it drop to nearly 1℃.
The number of rainy days is highest in Brisbane between December and April. In February and March there is about 14 rainy days each. Canberra gets most rain in winter with around 10 rainy days from June to August.
In summary, Brisbane have a warmer climate with more summer rain, while Canberra is colder and gets more rain in winter.
