The bar chart provides information about the change of the doctors’ and other workers’ annual salaries (the pay is given in thousands of US dollars) in seven different countries in 2024.
Overall, the US witnessed the largest annual pays for both categories. Notably, the figures of doctors’ yearly salaries were the highest in each selected country.
As for doctors, the yearly pay of those was the biggest in the USA, comprising a hefty 120 thousand of US dollars (td). Meanwhile, Switzerland and France came second, with the figures of the medical professionals’ one-year salary making up 70 td, which was almost half of the American wage. In the meantime, the rates of Italy, Czech Republic, and Germany were around 60 td, whereas Finland had by far the lowest figure, taking up 50 td.
Regarding other workers, the US ranked first in this category, reaching approximately 45 td, which was three times less than the doctors’ one in America. In the meantime, the Swiss other workers’ yearly pay was 40 td, ranking the second place, whereas the French accounted for nearly 30 td. As for Finnish one-year pay for other employees, it comprised around 25 td, half of the US one. At the bottom of the list were Italy, Czech Republic, and Germany, with annual salaries of this category making up 20 td.
