The line graph illustrates the proportion of visitor staying on cruise ships or on island and total number of people who visit Caribbean island between 2010 to 2017.
Overall, the number of people who preferred to stay on cruise ships have certainly increased over the time whereas in contrast there is a fluctutation in the number of people who stayed on island. Meanwhile there is a boom in the total number of visitors to Caribbean island.
Tourists who stayed on cruise ships were nearly quater million in 2010, which increased to half million in 2011 and again decreased to what it was in 2010. Since than the number has increased and 2017 it was recorded to maximum of 2 million people.
Visitors who stayed on island have fluctuated over the coarse of time. In 2010 the people who stayed on island were higher about 0.75 million as compared to people on cruise ships. Over the time period the people who stayed on island has increased less when compared to visitors on island. The maximum number was recorded back in 2015 about 1.5 million since than it has become the second place for visitors to stay. In 2016 the number after decrease was recorded to be 1.25 million and has increased back to 1.5 million in 2017.
To conclude the total tourists who visited Caribbean island were about 1 million in 2010 since than there is a boom in it’s numbers. In 2016 2.75 million visited whereas in 2017 3.5 million number of people visited.
