The chart compares eight different countries in terms of their global population and wealth percentages.

The data clearly shows the fact that there is a wide disparity between the western and eastern nations. Overall the western hemisphere posses a large portion of global wealth as compared to there population while the opposite is true for the eastern hemisphere.

North America, Europe and Rich Asia-Pacific are the wealthiest regions together having about eighty-eight percent of all the worlds riches with America alone controlling around thirty-four percent. On the other hand India and Africa are the poorest regions with each having only two percent of global wealth.

China leads in terms of population with twenty-four percent of global population followed by India and other Asia Pacific nations with each being home to about sixteen percent of all people. North America and Rich Asia-Pacific have the least amount of people living in them i.e. six and five percent respectively.
