Looking an overall perspective, the average age of both genders retired in Korea was the highest. However, France has the lowest average retired age for male and female among the six countries.
As can be seen, the average of age retirement for Korean men at 68 years and 8 months. It was followed by that of Italian and Japanese men at 67 years and 4 months. Futhermore, the number of average age Untied States men who retired stood at 65 years and 6 months was 1 year and 5 months higher than that of Australian men retired. In addition, the earliest average retirement age for male was in France, where they retired at 57 years and 4 months.
In terms of women, women from Korea entered to retire at average of 67 years and 2 months, which is the oldest among all countries listed. Moreover, there was no difference in the figures for both Japanese and Italian workers, who decided end their work at 66 years and 9 months. Additionally, American women tended to stop working at average of 64 years and 2 months, which 9 months sooner than women from Australia. French women has the earliest retirement age at an average of 56 years and 9 months.
