The picture illustrates how pineapples are cultivated, processed, and derived goods.
Overall, the process consists of two main stages. The first stage is to grow pineapples, which are used to make juice and canned goods, in addition to exporting.
In the first step, pineapples are grown in the field until their crowns reach 26 centimeters from the ground at 23-30 °c for 7 months. Secondly, a gas called ethylene is poured to ripe it faster. After 5 months pineapples become 30 cm long and are ready to pick up.
Regarding the processing, harvested pineapples are sorted according to size including small, medium, and bigger ones. Crowns of small and medium-sized pineapples are cut and then chopped to prepare products, the formers are put into an extractor to make juice and the latter for making pineapple cans. Big ones are washed and placed in a box for export.
