The diagram illustrates the process involved in the production of recycled newspaper from used old newspapers. It is a DIY procedure that is composed of several steps, beginning with used newspapers being shredded, which ends by drying the paper in a parched environment.
Overall, the process consists of nine crucial steps, which can be categorized into transforming the old papers into a fine mixture, removing the water soaked in the mixture, and letting it dry for a day.
First of all, the process begins with the used newspapers being shredded to pieces manually into small pieces. Next, 250 ml of water soaks them, and a blender thoroughly mixes them for 45 seconds.
Moreover, the mixture is then placed inside a tray with 100 ml of water additionally. It is then mixed again with hand before a mesh is put underneath in order to remove the excess water.
After draining, when the water is drained, it is then put between a pair of newspapers to be rolled with a rolling pin. Lastly, the flattened paper pulp is then left to dry out for a day with great ventilation and sunlight to obtain a reusable sheet of recycled paper.
