Overall, Hamburgers and Pizza increased over the years, whereas the consumption of Fish and Chips declined.
Firstly, Fish and Chips reached the highest consumption among teenagers in 1975 but they weren’t priority and only accounted about 38 times by 2000, a decline of about 62 times compared to 1975. The period from 1985 to 2000 saw a rapid decline in their consumption.
Secondly, the both of Hamburgers and Pizza became the top choice afterward. Pizza increased steadily between 1975 and 1995, but it stabilized from 1995 to 2000. Regarding Hamburgers, there was a specific trend among teenager when choosing fast food. Hamburgers were consumed about 5 times in 1975, but this increased to about 85 in 2000.
