The plans demonstrate the current model and the alternations in the next year of the southwest airport.
Overall, it is noticeable that the airport will be expanded to accommodate more gates. Moreover, amenities and facilities will be added for the convenience of the passengers.
The departure hall is on the left as one faces the building. The security and passport control are seen straight ahead from the departure entrance. Soon after the redevelopment, the bag drop will replace the check-in counter below the security and passport control, which will be moved to the right side of the hall. Furthermore, the cafè will be moved close to the entrances. And, Various shops are considered to locate just above the security control in the future.
Moving onto the arrivals hall, passport control customs is going to remain the same as the present day; however, the cafè, the ATM machine, and the car hiring area will be added in the next year. Next, the concourse ahead of the customs will be extended from 8 gates to 18 gates, allowing departing and arriving passengers to pass through without hecticness. Lastly, the walkway will be supplanted by the sky train.
