The maps illustrate the current layout of an office building and the proposed plan for its future redevelopment.
Overall, the office is set to undergo a significant transformation, shifting from a facility with several functional rooms such as a kitchen, canteen, and grass areas into a more modern, work-oriented space featuring additional offices, a meeting area, and outdoor seating. Of particular note is that the green spaces will be removed entirely, making way for expanded internal facilities and improved workplace functionality.
With regard to the present office first, the central area is surrounded by various rooms. Along the top side, there is a kitchen, canteen, and storeroom, while the right-hand side contains WCs. The bottom section is occupied by four separate office rooms. In addition, there are two entrances, one located on the left and another on the bottom right. Notably, large grass areas are positioned on both sides of the building, taking up considerable space.
Turning to the future plan, the layout will be reorganized to prioritize professional and collaborative spaces. The grass areas will be removed, with the left side converted into an outdoor seating area and additional offices. The number of offices will increase overall, occupying both the top and bottom sections. Furthermore, a meeting area will be introduced on the right-hand side, replacing part of the previous open space. The kitchen and canteen will be eliminated, with a coffee machine installed instead, while the storeroom and WCs will remain but be slightly repositioned. The entrance will also be centralized at the bottom, creating a more symmetrical and accessible design.
