The maps illustrate the current layout of an office building and the proposed design after reconstruction. Overall, the office building will experience major alterations, with key changes including the removal of open green spaces. Furthermore, there have been significant changes to infrastructure, housing and facilities over the period given.
The present office rooms at the bottom of the map are relatively small; the future plan is to expand the offices, therefore, the four offices will be converted into two bigger offices with an entrance hall between them. Moreover, the kitchen and canteen at the top of the present map will be transformed into extra offices. Perhaps, the storeroom to the left of the canteen will remain in its same position. Additionally, the WCs place, which is below the storeroom, will be transferred to the top right of the building, occupying a part of the grass area.
A further future improvement is diminishing areas of the building. Similarly, the grass area on the left side will also be converted to an outdoor seating area, and chairs will be added. Besides, the entrance hall that leads to the left grass area will remain with no change.
