The graph data depicts the proportion of spending in an individual nation called Turkey between 1960 and 2000.
Overall, throughout the period, the percentage of spending in five different cetagories was diminishing except the clothing section. Here, the most considerable drop presented by the food budget compared to others.
In 1960, spending in leisure and energy were 20% and 5%, which were dropping smoothly during the timeframe, and reached around 13% and 2.5%. Notably, spending in energy was consistently rocorded lowest position. Likewise, food and transportation spending percentage were similarly declining as leisure and enegry.
Clothing was the only sector where the spending percentage followed a different pattern. It was below 10% in 1960, but after 1960 it was rising and crossed all other categories at the end of the period in 2000, which was approximately 18%. Therefore, although initially the percentage of spending on food was the highest, the apex figure was taken by clothes in 2000.
