The given pie charts show, the daily activities of grown-ups spent their time with different works in one country in two specific years 1958 and 2008. Overall, people spent most of the time at work than sleeping and the time of relaxing at home has increased where the going out has decreased over the years.
In 1958, almost one third of time spent on working where they expanded less time on sleeping. They took 19% of time to going with family and friends. Other activities such as travel to work, other hobbies or playing sports and relaxing at home, adults spend a very little time.
In 2008, grown-ups pass the time at work increased by 9% on the other side the time spent on sleeping decreased by 7%. The time spent on travelling to work increase from 2% to 8%. There was a significant difference between going out with family and friends. It dropped from 19% to 6%. In contrast, the time spent relaxing at home was up from 8% to 13%. Time spent on playing sports or pursuing hobbies did not show any bigger difference and it’s just taken 6%-8%.
Overall, adults take more time on working and also spend more time on relaxing at home
