Overall, the percentage of spending included food, leisure, clothing, transport, energy
in 40 years, Turkey witnessd a lot of changes in this 40 years, for instance food decreased about 20 proprtion during the 40 years
From 1960 to 2000 there was decline for all of the categories of expenditrue, however there was an exception with clothing it did increase from about 9 and then in 1970 it went up to almost 11 and eventually raised to about 17 percent
In 1960, the highest proprtion was food with 35 percent however it reduced to 15 percent in 2000, moreover there was slight decreaes in leisure it went graduly from 5% to almost 2%, and in transport there wasn’t any huge decreases unitl year 1990 it was 7% and it went strongly near no 3 percent
