The process demonstrates how to grow and manufacture pineapples into different kinds of food.
Overall, this process involves both natural and man-made elements and can be divided into two main stages: the farming of pineapples and the processing of the crop, which eventually turns into a beverage, a canned food, or an export.
Beginning with growing, pineapples are grown in a field with their crowns spaced 26 centimeters apart, and they thrive in the sun where temperature ranges from 23 to 30 degrees Celsius. After seven months, ethylene is sprayed onto pineapples. Second, pineapples are collected after 5 months when their harvest conditions reach 30 centimetres and 2 kilograms.
According to the man-made elements, after pineapples are harvested, they are separated into three processes. Starting with the smallest are turned into juice, pineapples are washed and then their rinds peeled. While other medium pineapples also have their outsides cut off, this time they continue to be cut into thin slices and canned. By contrast, the largest pineapples are just waxed and put into boxes, then they are exported.
