The bar chart illustrates the percentages of attendance in free-time activities of boys and girls aged 5–14 in Australia.

In general, 5- to 14-year-old boys and girls spend their free time watching TV/videos. Meanwhile, most of the boys’ participation rates are higher than those of girls in the remaining activities, except in art and craft.

The percentage of Australian boys who choose electronic/computer games in their free time accounts for 80%. Bike riding is the third most selected leisure activity, which is 10% less than electronic/computer games but twice as high as skateboarding/roller-blading. The girls’ percentages show the same pattern for those activities.
