The line charts gives information about the value in Australian dollars of exports and imports with three different countries China, Japan and United states between 2004 and 2009.
Overall, it can be seen that across the countries the amount of exports and imports had increased throughout the years, except United states which showed a stablize pattern.
To begin with, in China, the amout of exports were made by Australia over 10 billion dolllars, and imporsts just below 20 billion dollars in 2004. This figure increased moderately and rose to about 35 billion dollars of exports and 30 billion dollars of imports by the end of the period.
In terms of Japan, started with almost 20 billion dollars of exports and imports in 2004. However, the amount of exports increased gradually to under 30 billion dollars in 2007, and imports remained steady. The amount of exports escalated sharply in 2008, but decreased in following year to just over 30 billion dollars. Meanwhile, imports showed slightly similar patterns but remained the same over the period.
According to the United states, the figure of exports and imports fluctuated considerably though, but remained almost the same as before to 20 billion dollars of imports and 10 billion dollars of exports by the give period.
