The given chart illustrate the proportion of men and women aged 60-64 in work in four district countries (Australia,Japan, USA and Belgium) in 1970 and 2000.

Overall, the roportion of working aged men is higher than working aged women in all county both in 1970 and 2000.

Japan is the country with the most aged working people. In 1970 the proportion of working aged men and women was 84 percentage and 43 percentage respectively. Despite of facing significant downfall in working aged people, it still remains top in 2000 too.

Similarly, the working aged population also decreased in other countries too. But the significant change is seen in Belgium where the working aged men shrinked to 19 percentage in 2000 from 79% in 1970. Meanwhile, there is no any drastic change in working aged women between 1970 and 2000 though the proportion decreased by 1%.
