The line chart delineates the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office from three sectors, including person, letter/email, and telephone, in one town during the six months in 2011.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the figure for letter/email dropped throughout the period, while the reverse was true for person and telephone. Though the number of enquiries received by telephone dominated for a few years, the rate for person surpassed remarkably it.To begin, the numbers for person and telephone accounted for just above 420 and 900, respectively. The former fluctuated differently, reaching precisely 1000 by march, meanwhile, the latter underwent dramatic growth to exactly 800. By the end of the period, those rates rose sharply, peaked at 1900 and 1600, respectively.
In contrast, the figure for letter/email stood at marginally under 800 in january. And then, this number dropped gradually to around 500, before decreasing dramatically to just below 400 by march, and it remained stable by the finishing time.
