The graph shows the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Infomation Office in one city over a six-month period in 2011 including in person, by letter/email and by telephone. As we can see, the highest number of enquiries received in person was about 1900 while the lowest number of enquiries received by letter/email was about 390. However, the number of enquiries received by telephone was between in person and by letter/email which was 1600.
Firstly, the number of enquiries received in person increased gradually from January toMarch which was nearly from 410 in January to 600 in February and which was from 600 in February to 800 in March. However, there was a rapid change of enquiries from March to June. In April, the number of enquiries received in person was 1300 and this was still increased nearly to 1600 in May. At last, this point reached to the top of 1900 enquiries in June.
Next, there was a gradual decline of the number of enquiries from nearly 800 to 850 by letter/email. Then, there was a down trend from March to May which decreased from 850 to nearly 400. At last, the number of enquiries was stable from May to June by letter/email.
Generally speaking, the number of enquiries in person from January to June was the highest which was 1900 in june while the number of enquiries by letter/email from January to June was the lowest which was nearly 400. Finally, the number of enquiries by telephone was in the middle of comparison in the graph.
