The image shows a line graph depicting production levels of petroleum, natural gas, and coal in the UK from 1981 to 2000, measured in energy units. In 1981: Petroleum ~90, Natural Gas ~40, Coal ~65; 1985: Petroleum ~125, Natural Gas ~45, Coal ~55; 1990: Petroleum ~130, Natural Gas ~45, Coal ~54; 1995: Petroleum ~140, Natural Gas ~65, Coal ~38; 2000: Petroleum ~133, Natural Gas ~68, Coal ~31. Overall ranges: Petroleum ~90-145 (peak ~1986), Natural Gas ~40-70 (rising gradually), Coal ~31-70 (declining). *1 energy unit = energy from 1 million tonnes of oil.

overall, the production of fuels experienced different trends. The production of natural gas gradually increased ,while the production of coal fell over the time period given. However, the trend for petroleum have flactuated.
Moreover, in 1981 the rate for natural gas was started at 40 and it was at the same position until 1991 but the trend saw a gradually increased by 100 in 2000.While the trend for petrolium was started at under 100 followed by a great increased to 140 and in 1991 saw a down and reach its starting point and after 1991 trend was gradually increased to 140.
In addition, the rate of coal started at 80 and plunged at 40 but in 1986 its slightly increased after the rising trend the rate fell over the period by 28 in 2000.
