Overall, the proportion of added sugar is highest in snacks (42%), whereas it is lowest during breakfast (16%). Similarly, the percentage of saturated fat is prominent during dinner (37%) and minimal during breakfast (16%). Additionally, the ratio of sodium is predominant during dinner (43%) and minimum in snacks (14%), and breakfast (14%). Evidently, in breakfast, the ratio of all the nutrients is lowest in breakfast and highest in dinner.
The proportion of sugar in breakfast is only 16%, whereas it is 19% in afternoon meals. Moreover, the sodium content in lunch is 29%. In addition, the ratio of saturated fat in afternoon meals is 26%, and 21% saturated fat is present in snacks.
