Dear Mr. Toor,

I hope this letter finds you in good health. I am writing to request a short time off to attend a family celebration next Friday, April 30.

It is my husband’s birthday, and I am planning to give him a surpirse party. It is important for me to present actively in this function because I am organising everything from decorations to welcoming guests.

Therefore, I would like to request a half day off as celebration is schedued to begin You work f1 pm. I have to leave the office 12 pm, so I can get ready and arrive at venue on a time. I will return to work as usual on the following morning.

To ensure that there will no disruption at the workflow, I will finish my all urgent work before I leave. If needed, I am not only willing to come early morning to make sure that everything would be on the truck, but also will be available on phone for any essential enquries.
