My dearest Cora,

I am really grateful for the birthday invitation but I am afraid I won’t be able to come at your special day.

As you know, my department is the incharge for the registration for the upcoming International Healthcare conference next week and we will be having a thorough meeting on weekend before the commencement of the event. It is a big conference where most of the famous physicians and sponsors are joining that is why we need to iron out the blue print of the registration and prepare all the necessary amenities of the event.

However, I will make up with you next weekend after this activity. I am sure you missed going to videoke bar just like we used to do before. And there is a new fancy restaurant which serves your favourite chinese cuisine, we could try there.
