Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction towards your recent plan to destroy the historic CN tower, which has been serving a great tourist attraction in Toronto since world war 2.
There are a couple of reasons why we must preserve and maintain the Tower. Firstly, it serves as our heritage, which was built by our ancestors, and should be preserved at any cost to remember them. Secondly, it is the tallest building in the city, and the identity of Toronto. If we demolish it we lost our main identity. Additionally, it is a main tourist attraction in the city, boosting our city’s GDP. Moreover, in the near future, we can also make a bungee jumping spot during summer time, which generates additional revenue from it.
In my opinion, preserving CN tower offers a lot more advantages as compared to replace it with any shopping center building. Moreover, I ,and city people see CN tower as a symbol of pride, which can’t be replaced by any shopping centre.
Your faithfully,
Manil Patel
