It is not uncommon to see less and less people wasting their time on loved activities in today’s fast-paced world.
While this can be attributed to several reasons, this can affect humanity positively.
The valid reasons why this is the case are that people are willing to improve their mood or relieve depression. In other words, they feel a sense of calm and satisfaction while they doing these activities. This can affect the human nervous system. My sister, at the age of 15, serves as a pertinent example. When she faced a depressing situation, like struggling with my mother, she opted to do her hobbies for well-being. Ultimately, the primary reason for devoting time to hobbies is to improve one’s mood. If people had not spent time on their loved activities to relieve depression, they would not able to spend their time effectively. Therefore, devoting time to hobbies, including but not limited drawing, listening to music, can contribute to feeling unwound.
I consider this case often affects society negatively for some valid reasons. The primary one is problems with education. To explain, some people, especially children waste plenty of time on their hobbies, and they are not able to complete their tasks. Take my brother as an example. He spends a lot of time making interesting items; little by little it has been seen as a negative influence on his education. As a result, spending a lot of time on hobbies causes local problems, like education.
In conclusion, while there are some key reasons why this is the case, such as improving mood, I consider it to have many negative aspects for society, especially in education.
