Nowadays, people have different opinions about whether living in big cities is becoming more difficult or it is easier than living in smaller towns. Some people believe that living in big cities is more complicated and more difficult than living in smaller towns because big cities have serious responsibilities.
Firstly, modern and big cities have a crowded population. Crowded cities have many private cars and many vehicles which means there are heavy traffic congestion. Therefore, people can be late to reach where they want to go. Moreover, big cities have big buildings and fewer green spaces, as a result, people miss green spaces and parks. Also crowded cities have a significant crime rate. However, big cities have good opportunities such as large public transportation networks, the chance to meet new and different people and access to quality schools. Furthermore, big cities include qualified institutions such as universities or hospitals. Also, these institutions train highly skilled persons.
Secondly, smaller towns have limited resources. For example, people have difficulty in accessing (limited access to) hospitals or government institutions. Also, there are fewer large supermarkets for shopping.
In conclusion, I believe that big cities are very stressful to live in but I prefer big cities because they include significant advantages.
