In the present time, there is a nubmer of young individuals who do not know enough about their own county’s culture and traditions. The probable reason for this is that young generation is now focused on modern trends and their own career progression, moreover, in my view, the aspect of knowing unwritten laws of one’s country is vitally required to expect a positive future.
Today’s novelties and tendency of getting succesful play a very distructive role in terms of researching about old traditions. Consequently, fresh trends took a huge part of teenagers’ lives. For example, old practices have became out of fashion and rarely to never do they attend each others’ houses and do not spend as much time with one another, since now, the way it is done is to have conversations online. Apart from that, most of young men are tend to be so focused on their success path, that they even lose touch with their ancestor’s customs. Because while spending so much time on it, they do not take the time on culture of their country.
In my opinion, it is good to know about old practices of one’s own country. The reason for that is, while practicing traditional customs, we spend time with our family and relatives, which uplifts well being and attitude of our close ones. For example, in Uzbekistan, there is such practice, as eating pilaf early in the morning. This event usually happens in the morning, where a big quantity of men get together and eat morning pilaf, it gets people along and gives energy for the rest of the day.
To conclude, one of the possible reasons for people not knowin their own culture and practices is a reliance to get rich and new culture that disrupt the process of researching about the customs, and I am pretty sure that it is not the best point to live, since it is often said “without knowing the past, we will not have a future!”.
