Many people argue that today’s youth do not have much knowledge about their past heroes, they have lot of information related to tv actors or about singers. The essay will discuss reasons behind it and will also suggest some measure to keep their ancient heroes alive.
First and foremost, today’s singers and movie starts have gigantic media coverage which in return is a main cause of their promotion and success. Their every movement from morning to evening is covered by print media, electric media or by social media for the sake of good rating. Such promotion keeps their audience in touch them. Moreover, the posters of their newly released tracks or movies are depicted to billboards on roads and media for sake of audience engagement.
On the other hand, nowadays famous personalities from the past are alive only in books. No one highlights their achievements. Their efforts are only represented on special occasions. For instance, Allamah Muhammad Iqbal was friend of Quaid-e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, their contribution for the formation of Pakistan as much as Quaid but, he has no media coverage, that’s why, many individual do not have knowledge about their contribution for my country.
It is very crucial for government to take initiatives to keep their people well informed from celebrities of past whether by adding topics related to their achievements in school’s books or by permitting streaming of their biographies on media. Government should arrange festival for their promotion and should arrange speeches about their struggle.
In conclusion, its is essential to keep their famous personalities alive because they had done efforts for our welfare.
