Band 5+: These days, in many countries, fewer and fewer people want to become teachers, particularly in secondary schools. What are the reasons for this? How could more people be encouraged to come into the teaching profession?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Nowadays, many people do not want to be a teacher, especially in secondary school. I think there are some reasons for this and we can do some things to solve this problem.

The first reason is teachers have a difficult job. They have to teach many students, check their homework and prepare lessons. Some students are also not polite and they do not listen to teachers. Because of this, teachers can feel very tired and stressed. Another reason is salary. In some countries teachers do not get enough money for their work. So, many young people choose other jobs because they can earn more money.

I think there are some solutions for this problem. First, the government should give teachers more salary. If teachers earn good money, more people may want to become teachers. Also, schools should give teachers less work. They should have more free time to relax and spend time with their family. Schools can also help teachers when they have problems with students.

In conclusion, people do not want to become teachers because this job is hard, stressful and the salary is not enough. I think better salary and working conditions can make this job more popular.
