Nowadays, information technology makes access to our work easier from any distance, and we are becoming increasingly dependent on it. But while it makes life and work more accessible, I also think it may cause homesickness in individuals.
One of the biggest drawbacks of IT is that it can impose a lot of weak habits of inconsistency in their daily life routines and cause them to become depressed. Most people, while doing their work remotely, feel exhausted from sitting long hours in front of their tablets or PC. As a result of these long hours, they lose their consistency, and furthermore, it can cause different home diseases for them, which leads them to fail.
Despite these disadvantages, we cannot deny that working from a distance has made many aspects of our life more accessible and pleasurable. Working online gives people this opportunity to do everything at the same amount of time without having strict rules for working, and the amount of time that they have spent for a round trip allows people to catch up on other main works. For example, people who are carrying two jobs or many responsibilities at a time can use their saved time to do them. Thus, this enhances their chances to have more pleasure in other aspects of life and not fall behind on their important stuff. If it is another profession, it can also increase their income as well.
Clearly, there are some negative aspects to working far away. Having said that, it is the way we use it that causes these. If it is used regularly according to a timetable and people take breaks from their computers during work, there are only benefits that remain.
