The problem of traffic congestions has already hit almost all cities around the world. This essay will examine the main causes of this phenomenon and privide possible solutions to that.
The foremost problems of overloaded roadways are caused by rising flow of private vehicles and unefficient organisation of transport movement. As cars are becoming more achievable for some categories of citizens, the use of them is getting more noticable. Furthermore, some road jams are owing to difficulties with aproppriate arranging of traffic. For inctance, during the rush hour it is more likely to stuck into congestions, because majority of roadways are not ellaborated well for big flow of vehicles.
Possible solutions to these problems would be to encourage citizens to use public transport and make same actions towards road manegement. If each person use communal transport at least two times a week, the traffic congestions will be reduced. Government can offer discounts for people that support that idea. Another step that could be taken is to make certain days in week in which ride by communal transport will be for free. Moreover, providing some new traffic lights or additional lanes, might help mitigate the problem. For example, in some big cities there have been already installed traffic markers which allow vehicles to move in extra lane, when movement is seem to be overloaded.
