Now, some people might argue that the disadvantages of technology have outweighed its advantages, which has sparked a lot of controversy across the globe.
Although technology has many advantages and has made our life much easier, it’s not as perfect as it seems. The development of technology has affected many aspects of our life such as education, transportation and healthcare. Using the internet too much in one day can affect eyesight causing many people to wear glasses. Despite the fact that transportation became much easier with the invention of cars, accidents are becoming more frequent by the day, causing injuries and may even lead to death. Technology has also contaminated the environment, factories, cars, and air conditioners are all reasons of the increase of global warming. Many schools have started giving their students laptops and gadgets to replace books, this is causing many students to fail, and that’s because they don’t pay attention in class. Most of them get distracted and watch videos, play games, chat with their friends during class
On the other hand, some might argue that technology’s disadvantages depend on its usage. Technology plays a big role in making our lives easier, such as e-maps, connecting with distant family and friends, and accessing global information. These positive uses often have the biggest impact on our lives, enabling us to learn, socialize, connect, and game safely if used correctly. Additionally, technology has advanced many aspects of society, making tasks more efficient and organized. In schools, teachers find it easier to assign homework, tests, and results, while students become more productive. The increased use of technology has helped teenagers develop valuable skills, leading to secure jobs in the expanding field.
