The report shows that many children who are between 7 and 11 years old watch TV and play video games a lot. This can lead to eye strain in children, and they do not have enough time their lessons. However, there are some solutions which should be implemented to deal with this issue.
The first problem that can arise from this is that children have visual impairment when they spend a long time in front of screen. They have reduced eyesight and it brings about using eyeglasses, and after certain age their eyes should be operate by the ophthalmologist. Another difficulty is that children do not focus on their lessons, and can not dedicate enough time to their lessons. In other words, they are not interested in their homework. A result of this, they have a weak educational background.
Nevertheless, some approaches can be applied to ease the problem, on of which is that the parents can allow 1 or 2 hours their children to watch television or play video games on computer during a day. The decreasing of use time from technology tools are good for human eyes. Another effective method would be to attract children to other activities. For example, the parents should motivate their children to study or prepare their lessons.
In conclusion, while this problem has become common in some places, reducing the use of TV and phones, and taking part in different activities are possible solutions to this problem.
