In modern world mostly all people are depended on the internet. They spend almost all their free time by chatting, posting new photos, watching videos or doing important work, such as creating science projects, communicating with business partners on online platforms. These everyday activities became the part of our usual life and we do not imagine it without the internet. However, now we are faced with a major question. Should we see a positive side of global network or worry about the effect this is having on social interaction?
First of all, I would like to demonstrate the benefits, that make internet unquestionably one of the key items in todays life. It provides nearly all necessary equipment, knowledges, ways of communicating and other global things, that prove it’s importance one more time. Researchers, engineers, IT specialists and other workers improve its quality and multi functionality year after year. Is undeniable that the advent of the internet has made our lives considerably more comfortable and productive.
Actually, I cannot miss the clear fact, that this global web allows to open up new different communication possibilities worldwide. Keeping staying at home we are allowed to broaden the mind by exploring completely new cultures of foreign counties, and come up with people thousands kilometers away from us. These beneficial possibilities play a crucial role in building new relationships with those who helps us to improve interpersonal skills and become closer to intercultural connections.
Nevertheless, for every plus there is a minus. One of the disadvantages is a lose of relations with real people. Indeed, many recent researches proved the fact that those individuals, who are more likely to spend lots of their time on the internet turn closed, secretive, sometimes even too anxious. These are the first signals of internet’s influence. Specialists explain this phenomenon: ,,Human’s brain cannot quickly detect and adapt to increasing information, moving from the internet. It sounds the alarm by making person’s character and attitude to the surroundings distantly. There is only one way to solve this complicated issue. Internet users should gradually decrease their online time and try to fit into the society by improving social skills and, if it is more deep, problematic situation, working with psychologists. It seems to be pretty understandable and logical solution.
To conclude, comparing two different sides of views, I can make a deduction, that Internet is an instrument, which provides helpful and meaningful information to users, at the same time, making some of them weaker and more susceptible to the pressure, coming from global network. It attracts more argues for and against its existence. In my opinion, Everyone must take into consideration all the positive effects and not exclude drawbacks of such insidious cyberspace.
