English is becoming the most popular language in the world due to the advnancement of tourism. However, according to some people, if this continues, English will be the only available language. Although, having a single language have a significant advantages but it wll have some drawbacks too.
The massive changes will be made if English become the only language will be in the communication system, trade, entertainment, business etc sectors. If all the people speak the same language, there will be no barrier between people to communicate. They can express their feelings more easily and when visiting another country, they dont have to feel awkward due to the differences in language. Also, the businessmen will mostly be benefited because they can hire people from different countries of the world and the employees can give their best, as they dont have any anxiety about the language. The internet will flourish with only one language, though there are too many languages present in the internet now. So, browsing experience will be enhanced due to the use of one language.
On the other hand, if there is only one language, people from different countries of the world will loose their uniqueness. The cultural variation will be totally lost, as language is the most important elements of the culture. If the language is lost, many people will completely forget their cultural activities which was a part of their religion or culture. Moreover, the older people who are used to listen,write and speak their native language, will compeletely lost their presence. The ancient books, sculpture and all the ancient things which mostly based on the language, will completely become valueless.
In short, as english become the prominent language around the world other languages will be completely lost though there will be huge advancement in the communication and trading industry.
