Rising air traffic is contributing to air and environmental contamination as well as noise pollution. To address these issues, it is believed that the government should implement policies requiring higher taxes. I completely agree that increased taxes can offer a viable solution, with the collected funds being used to mitigate the negative effects on the ecology.
Thanks to advancements in engineering, the number of modern and convenient airplanes has significantly increased. Despite this progress enabling people to travel long distances affordably, it has also led to the expansion of airports into gardens and fields, as well as increased noise pollution from the aviation industry that disturbs residents near airport facilities. Therefore, imposing higher taxes on flight tickets could serve as a key measure to tackle these challenges. For instance, a few years ago, there were limited domestic flights within Uzbekistan; whereas today, there are frequent round-the-clock flights available to various regions within the country in addition to international flights.
The demand for new airports has risen due to the growing number of people traveling by air between different locations. However, airport construction requires vast amounts of land to accommodate the necessary buildings and infrastructure, leading to significant deforestation and environmental pollution. For example, in the past five years, ten local gardens have been replaced by three new airports.
In conclusion, the construction of more airports poses a greater threat to nature and the inhabitants of our planet. By imposing strict taxes on operational airports, individuals can take proactive measures to safeguard our planet and expand environmentally friendly areas.
