The debate surrounding the provision of sports and community facilities to the local community from large companies – is it their responsibility or not – remains a contentious issue. In my opinion, if a company is thriving and can afford to increase the level of prosperity for local communities, then it should do so.
Firstly, if the company does everything efficiently and takes the matter seriously, such an act will increase the company’s reputation. So this could be a good promotion for the company. In addition, this is an addition to the infrastructure of local communities – increasing the level of health. People use the services provided by the company to become healthier and stronger.
Additionally, the company can reach a new level of involvement and promote the idea of sports through various promotions. For example, organize races or competitions with sponsors and other sporting events. In this way, the company can show itself as an enterprise involved in the issue of health.
I acknowledge that there are contrasting perspectives on this matter. Some argue that such an investment will only worsen the company’s position. Organizing such a project will cost quite a lot of money, and something like this needs to be approached with caution. The provision of such services due to the promotion of the company may, on the contrary, have a detrimental effect on the reputation; in the event of any accident, the company will be held responsible.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that if a company has the capabilities and good specialists in this field, it needs to do the best possible for people and their health.
