The future of children are major concern for all parents worldwide, and some people disagree about whether schools should teach children skills or range of subjects. However, This essay will discuss both views before explaining that why teaching at schools are more benificial for a children’s future.
Some people believe that having range of courses teach the students in a better way, as students have a wide variety of subject that teach them in every aspect of life by providing relevant examples. This is largely due to fact that children can learn and read whatever they choose for their future careers. Moreover, technology also helps children to explore wide variety of opportunities, and to learn from online courses. For instance, if schools offer wide variety of subjects, the learners have a chance to explore wide range of subjects that they opt or study for their future. Therefore, this can result in pupils can independently choose future careers.
Nevertheless, I might argue that schools should improve a children’s skills because students in their early age are not mature enough to decide what they opt for their profession. The reason for this is that young pupils do not think about critically at this age and distract easily. In addition, schools also help pupils to learn practical skills, and also give more opportunities to get experience from real world issues by providing extra co-curricular activites, particularly debates, sport competitions, seminars and other activities. Ultimately, these basic activites and learning possibilities help scholars to better understand their interests.
In conclusion, although a range of subjects help students to gain more knowledge and learn form other experiences, but I believe that educational institutes provide better opportunities to learn practical skills. This is mainly because pupils can be better at learning, when they make mistakes and learn form them.
