In most countries, their governments use more funds in preparation for national celebrations as a way of investing in tourism activities, while people pay so much as a way of bringing distance relatives for an unforgetable reunion.
The government spend so much as to invest in tourism for must expecially the foreigners to have fun and feel well entertained. For instance when Obafemi Awolowo university (OAU) organized an event called (WAUG) which was government approved program, so much was put into the event just to create a welcoming and fun filled event. It was also a period of sales for the vendors that where available during the event.
The citizens of a country, they spend that much as a result of creating an unforgetable memory for their families who are coming for the festival. For example a Ph.d student from Ghana studing at OAU was so excited when she realized the School she got her B.Sc from in Ghana will be coming around, she ensured making it fun for the participants.
I thereby agree to the fact that both governments and people always use alot of funds for celebrations which in many way create a sense of accurate entertainment for all visitors of the events, giving them reasons to always look forward to when the next event will be herd due to the fun, security, entertainment and in short the availability of direct access to their needs and wants during the festive
In conclusion, Governments and people always spend so much on celebration party to improve or impress the total number of tourist and families coming for next events due to the level of satisfaction they all experienced.
