Some people claim that university students should do voluntary work in their spare time to help the local community.In my opinion,I strongly believe that students are encouraged to help the local area for some activity and skills development.
Firstly,one of the primary reason for this opinion is students will have opportunity for their skills development.For example, voluntary work help to learners develop important skills,such as communication,leadership,to manage their time and teamwork.This skills will be needed not only at the university,also it will be needed for future work.Many students encounter with this widespread obstacle at work but to take part in voluntary work help to get important ability.
Secondly,another important point to consider is different activities.In many cases students are often busy with their lessons and it can lead to problem with health.However voluntary work provide opportunity to have diverse activity,such as plant a tree,clean up a trash,to help eldery people,to protect environment and so on.In addition they will find a lot of friends and students with such active days,they will bring more health benefits without workload.
In conclusion i agree that learners should spent their spare time on voluntary work.Students will have possibility to refine their skills and use it at work.In addition in many cases students have workload every day because of their lessons.However activity like voluntary work do their life more active and useful for people.
